Guru -Purnima

Guru Purnima is a  special day  dedicated to spiritual and academic teachers. The word Guru is derived from two words, gu and ru. The sanskrit root gu suggests that darkness or ignorance, and ru denotes the remover of that darkness. Therefore, a Guru is one who removes the darkness of our ignorance.This festival is traditionally celebrated to pay their respects to their teachers and express their gratitude. A Guru is a supreme gift from the god. A Guru is about giving,  Giving a meaningful direction in life. Guru purnima is a great opportunity to consolidate the bond of teacher- student relationships. So we should celebrate this day by giving a nice gift to your Guru.
